I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE
I’m a Registered Dietitian with a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition who specializes in gut health. I’m ready to help you beat the bloat, gain confidence and live your life without fear of symptoms! Besides the hundreds of women I’ve been able to help in my career, I’m ready to help because I was you. I’ve taken my own struggles with constipation and bloat to now have the privilege of helping other women learn to understand their symptoms, eat in a way that makes them feel good and most importantly feel empowered to prevent their symptoms from coming back!
There was a time before I was a Registered Dietitian when I felt extremely frustrated with my constipation and bloat and was SO confused about what to eat without getting debilitating symptoms.
After striking out with countless doctors I was left struggling to put the pieces of my own puzzle together. Although I understood basic nutrition it wasn’t until I started my Doctorate program for Clinical Nutrition where I started to learn about the “root cause” approach and how my symptoms were connected to more than just food.
Determined to find relief, I had been on elimination diet after elimination diet. This led me to cutting out entire food groups, following program after program and developing an unhealthy relationship with food.
It wasn’t until I began to study functional nutrition when I realized my entire approach to gut health was ALL WRONG!
After navigating elimination diet’s that left my social life in shambles and food guilt at an all time high, I started my Doctorate program and my entire mindset towards nutrition and gut health completely transformed.
This was when I began to realize that nutrition for gut health is so much more than what you eat.
It is about understanding the underlying factors that are contributing to your symptoms in addition to nutrition and addressing those so that you can find relief. My approach to nutrition is balanced, straightforward and most importantly SUSTAINABLE. As a Registered Dietitian, I took my own struggles with gut health and have created a successful online private practice where I get to show women how to improve their symptoms by addressing ALL of the contributing factors that are making them bloated and constipated. I help women just like you create sustainable changes so that you can be the best version of yourself.

YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE
I first came to Heather after seeking treatment with various doctors and nutritionists, even having my gallbladder removed, to get relief from digestive issues that seemed impossible to resolve. I was completely unaware that my digestive issues were only one symptom of many that were diet related, including hair loss, acne, eczema, joint pain, hormonal imbalances, insomnia, anxiety/ADHD, the list is endless. In a very short time Heather was able to identify the cause of these problems and help me drastically improve my physical/mental health and the way I feel on a daily basis. It has been an eye opening and life changing process and I’m so thankful!Karen
I’ve struggled with chronic eczema for decades. I’ve been to doctors, dermatologists and specialists; my bathroom counter is covered in lotions, ointments and topical creams. Nothing seemed to work. When a friend suggested I see a nutritionist, I will admit, I was pretty skeptical but since I’d exhausted every other avenue I thought “why not?”. One month into an elimination diet, my eczema is almost 100% gone. I don’t have any irritation, I’m not constantly itching, skin looks great and I feel wonderful. I can’t thank Heather enough. I would absolutely recommend Heather to anyone having eczema, skin irritation or any dietary concerns. She’s extremely easy to talk to, she is a great listener and offers excellent advice on a wide range of topics. I can honestly say Heather has changed my life.Pete
I loved my time spent with Heather. She helped me to develop a healthy relationship with food and gain confidence in myself. I can mindfully eat without worrying about the number on the scale.Michelle
Nutrition was always so confusing to me. Heather helped me to debunk diet myths and learn to provide my body with adequate energy to perform like I should. I have never had so much energy!Tiffany
I took the LEAPS test and I am SO thankful I did! I suffered from IBS, migraines and chronic fatigue and all of that is completely gone! It is worth every penny! Will
