Dr. Finley is an iaedp ™ Certified Eating Disorders registered Dietitian and Approved Supervisor (CEDRD-s). She is excited to support you in developing your eating disorder experience and knowledge. Heather began supervising dietitians in the field of eating disorders in 2017 when she hired her first dietitian. Through the management of her group practice, teaching at the university level and coaching individuals, her passion for education has only grown. Heather loves seeing her peers develop into stronger and more confident practitioners.
What is clinical supervision? It is not required for dietitians, but is commonplace in other fields. Heather’s goal for clinical supervision is to help enhance learning and help other professionals become the best version of themselves. The purpose of clinical supervision is not only to enhance professional growth & confidence, but to help ensure the best care for our clients.
The frequency of supervision is dependent upon each case, but typically Heather meets monthly with her supervisees. Heather provides 50-minute clinical supervision sessions in-person and virtually. She provides individual supervision and group supervision.
